WHO WE ARE

At Clorox Australia, we’re more than just the custodians of some of Australia’s iconic consumer brands. We’re also home to some of Australia’s exciting and emerging new brands.

As brand market leaders in a number of grocery categories, our products are found in homes and businesses across Australia. OUR MISSION

Our mission statement ‘We make everyday life better, every day’ reflects our ambition to make the world a better place through both our products and actions as a company.

We strongly believe all of our products should have a meaningful impact on consumers’ everyday lives. For example, Chux®, Gumption® and Handy Andy® make cleaning easier and help kill germs for a healthier home. Glad® Wrap keeps food fresh for longer and reduces food waste. Kingsford® BBQ Charcoal helps consumers cook delicious flavored meats faster. And Burt’s Bees® offers naturally derived lip colors and skin care for healthier skin.

We also strive to make everyday life better in the world where we do business. From donating products to Ronald McDonald House Charities across Australia to supporting environmental education at Taronga Zoo through our partnership with Burt’s Bees®, to providing time for our employees to volunteer; we’re committed to giving back to the community and helping those in need.

Tell me about your career at Clorox so far?

To be honest I really love the current working environment of Clorox, where I have benefited and gained extra knowledge by being part of the team. Clorox also sent me to China to get a better understanding of the process work channels as a whole and this helps me to grow in my field.

What do you do in your current role? What are the challenges?

In my current role, I work on NPD projects for Glad and Chux for Asia Pacific/AMEA. I provide technical support for customer complaints and also check the current products to ensure they are meeting their specifications for quality assurance.

The challenges are employee interaction, as we work with different people of a different mindset and different personalities and we use this to achieve goals as one for Clorox. I handle customer complaints, when technical needs to be involved and that makes me a more customer focused person and that really motivates me and also brings the best out of me in terms of productivity.

What’s the most memorable moment or project you have worked on at Clorox? Tell me about it.

My visit to China. This gave me the opportunity to see how the products are made. Now I can visualise when we talk about how production and processes work at the supplier. This gives me a better understanding of what we can and can’t do.

What is your favorite Clorox product and why?

Chux Wonder Cloth and Chux Magic Eraser. These 2 products are my babies. The name says it all – wonder and magic!

Chux Wonder Cloth does wonders, it’s very absorbent, strong and machine washable. You will always find one in my sink. I also can’t go without Magic Erasers, this product is magic. Do you know this product can remove burnt on food on the stove and removes stains from coffee mugs? Highly recommend this product to every household.

What do you love about working at Clorox?

Clorox have given me a lot of opportunities and treat me like family. The give me the freedom to do more and the work culture is #1. Everyone greets everyone with a smile that makes the day a great one.

What do you know about Clorox now that you didn’t know when you started?

I didn’t know that Clorox was very involved in volunteer and charity work. This makes me proud to be part of this company.
